Below are the easy steps you will take with me.
If we think we want to move forward with it, it’s time to file! ($375 my fees + USPTO filing fee of $250 per class) This process takes anywhere from 3 months-6 months until we hear back their initial response. If the examining attorney at the USPTO says it’s good to go, we are done! If not, we go to step 3.
Initial research ($175) ~ Is it a good idea to file for TM?
I will provide a report on whether the TM is already taken, any obstacles, if we can overcome those obstacles, and analysis of whether we should move forward with the application.
If the USPTO comes back and says we need to change something, or flat out rejects, or someone objects to your trademark, we will form a response. That drafting of the response is billed hourly at $275.
